Concetta "Tina" (Spano) Weaver

Concetta "Tina" Spano Weaver, 91, the wife of the late Richard Weaver Sr. of Standart Woods died Friday, September 7 in Auburn Community Hospital. Born in Coxsackie, NY, Tina was a resident of the Auburn area most of her life. She was employed as a time keeper by the Singer Company for many years. Later in life, she worked at the east end McDonald's, greeting everyone with conversation and a smile, as she toured the dining room, retiring at the age of 88. Tina enjoyed playing bingo, the occasional bus trip to the casino and was faithful communicant of St. Mary's Church.

She is survived by two sons William Weaver and his wife Jean and Tom Weaver and his wife Beth, both of Auburn; two daughters Debbi Farrelly and her husband Ronald of TX, and Theresa Kustyn of Auburn; two sisters Mary Zamniak of Auburn and Grace Siracusa of FL; sisters in law Marie Spano of Chittenango and Joan Connors of Auburn; brothers in law Christopher Messineo of Rochester and LeRoy Stevens of Cato; 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and two great - great grandchildren; her very good friend Betty Vanicore Reveal; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Giuseppe and Teresa Nocera Spano, and her husband Richard, Tina is predeceased by a son Richard Jr.; grandson Tom Weaver Jr.; two brothers Michael and Dominic Spano and two sisters Frances Amoia and Catherine Messineo.

Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian burial to be offered at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 12 in St. Mary's Church. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph' Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours for Tina will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm in the Cheche Funeral Home Inc., 1778 Clark St. Road, Auburn.
