Dennis J. Sincerbeaux, 58, of Rose, NY, died Wednesday, Dec. 27 in Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic. A native of Auburn, Dennis was a general mechanic who worked on and could fix anything. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a great fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Dennis is survived by his wife Karen VanPetty Sincerbeaux; son Greg and his wife Holly of Red Creek; two daughters Sherry Hoffman and her husband Kennith of Auburn and Dawn Sincerbeaux of Auburn; his grandmother Alice Dingy of Savannah; 7 brothers, Larry and his wife Bonnie of Rose, Richard and his wife Annette of Wolcott, Robert of Rose, Floyd and his wife Becky of Savannah, Phillip of Savannah; Joseph and his wife Londa of Savannah and Ronnie of Savannah; one sister, Penny Yonge and her husband Wade of Savannah; half sisters Debbie Gorton and her husband Jim of Rushville and Alice Hecker and her husband Jim of Groton; 11 grandchildren, Derek, William, Jacob, Kasi, Aaron, CJ, Hope, Alexis, Ryan Kolby and Izabella; and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Clarence and Shirley (Dingy) Sincerbeaux.
Friends are invited to join the family for a service to be offered at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 3, in the Cheche Funeral Home Inc., 1778 Clark Street Road, Auburn. Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, prior to the service in the funeral home.
