Edward T. DeTomaso, 62 the husband of Melody Hoag DeTomaso of Auburn died Tuesday, June 4 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. A native of Auburn, Ed worked as an HVAC Technician and was the go-to guy with questions regarding residential heating and air conditioning. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and was a long standing member of the Auburn Bowling Association. Above all, Ed was very proud of his children and loved spending time with his entire family.
In addition to his wife Melody, he is survived by one son Anthony DeTomaso (Jessica) of Auburn; two daughters Melanie Elardo (Chris) and Danielle DeTomaso, all of Auburn; two brothers William DeTomaso and Anthony "Acorn" DeTomaso (Pam) all of Auburn; one sister Laura DeTomaso (Mike O'Hara) of Auburn; sister in law Joanne DeTomaso of OH; and several nieces an nephews. In addition to his parents Anthony and Elizabeth Aubin DeTomaso, Ed is predeceased by a brother Domenic DeTomaso; and sister in law Judy Mallory DeTomaso.
Friends are invited to join the family for a service to be offered Saturday, June 8 at 10:00 am in the Cheche Funeral Home Inc. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be conducted Friday, from 4 to 7pm in the funeral home, 1778 Clark St. Rd., Auburn.
