In addition to his wife, Carmella, Louis was predeceased by two sons, Louis Scala Jr. and Louis Gerard Scala; grandson, Edward Louis Meyer; brother, Angelo Scala, and sister, Amelia Sigona.
Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian burial to be offered at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Alphonsus Church. Burial with full military honors will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
