Rose Leonello, 89, formerly of Hoffman Street, Auburn, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 in the Commons on St. Anthony. Born in Auburn, Rose retired as a clerk from Auburn Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Alphonsus Church.
She is survived by two sons, Jacob and David Leonello, both of Auburn; two daughters, Carol Leonello, of Auburn, and Patricia Ferro and her husband, Mike, of Buffalo; four grandchildren, Tony and Franco Ferro, and Andrew and Annette Leonello; sisters, Mary, Carmella, and Rosemarie.
She was predeceased by her parents, Cero and Cira Inguei Durante; and her husband, Carmen.
Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian burial to be offered at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Alphonsus Church. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Mausoleum. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Cheche Funeral Home Inc., 1778 Clark St. Road, Auburn.
